Ms. ELF has been baking custom-designed cakes for more than 30 years. She began at home baking for friends and co-workers, but the more she baked, the more requests came in. Her daughter suggested she start a bakery, but Ms. ELF didn't want the burden of running a business to interfere with her creativity and passion for baking. Therefore, the Summa Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Prayre Finley honed in on her management, accounting, and entrepreneurial skills to become the CEO of our family business now known as ELF’s Cakery.

We specialize in baking premium cakes and cupcakes for all occasions. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, baby showers, corporate events… you name it, and we’ll make something special just for you. Ms. ELF handcrafts every detail from the zipper on a Louis Vuitton purse to the apps on an iPhone replica. Everything is edible and a work of art!

Ms. ELF was introduced into baking at a very young age:

“Some of my first recipes were derived from cakes, cookies, and pies that my mother, Rena Livingston, and high school home economics teacher, Mrs. Annie E., taught me. I can even recall baking recipes from my grandmother. Mrs. Annie E. always told me to believe in myself no matter what others said. Years later, I’m living a dream greater than I ever anticipated, so I will treasure her words of wisdom forever.”

By 2012, ELF’s Cakery creations had generated so much buzz that the Henry Herald asked to do a feature story about us for their Christmas holiday issue. You can view the full article here. Shortly after, in 2013, we were featured on Channel 11 as a premier bakery in Stockbridge. In 2017, we joined an array of vendors providing desserts for T.I. & Tiny's babyshower. It was there that Ms. Trina Braxton tasted and fell in love with our keylime cake, and blessed us with our first nationwide television appearance on "Braxton Family Values" broadcast on WEtv in May 2018. Shortly after, we were contacted by Bravo to be featured on the Real Housewives of Atlanta for Shamari Devoe (Season 11, Episode 4 - Nov 25, 2018). In 2019, we were featured in the Spring/Summer issue of The Knot for providing the cake for one of their featured couples Carmen and Cory. In 2022, we were featured in the Henry County Visitors Guide for exceeding expectations as a black-owned business.

Our motto is simple: To taste as good as it looks. Made with the finest ingredients, our cakes are so moist you won’t even need ice cream. One bite will have your guests craving for more, so you can never order too much. They’ll beg you to let them take some home for later. Come in and see for yourself! Your guests will thank you for using ELF’s Cakery.
